About Petite Personal Shopper
Ethical Petite from Adili

Simone's Style

Hi petite shoppers!

I am so pleased to have been invited to share my ethical fashion knowledge and style ideas with you.  Let me tell you a little about me…

I’m 26 years old, a size 8, and just hitting 5 foot.  I know how tricky it is to find clothes that don’t swamp you.  After dabbling with petite ranges and being really uninspired by them, I soon learned how to get creative and over the years I have honed my eye for petite friendly styles that I can wear my way. Fashion has always been a passion of mine, and ethics has always played a key role in my home life.  After spending three years in fashion PR working for high end designer brands I became dispirited by the throw away nature of one hit wonder styles and worried about the environmental issues within fashion production.  When the opportunity to join Adili came up – I jumped at the chance!

Adili is the new fashion brand with a conscience.  As a company we believe that fashion can be both stylish and made in an ethical and just way - in a way that gives rather than takes from people and the planet.  Although only 6 months old, we showcase pioneering brands which are tackling head on one or more of the ethical issues involved in fashion production.  Some of our brands trade fairly and directly with producers while others focus on the environmental cost of growing and producing fibre and fabric.  With over 40 brands (and growing) there really is something to meet everyone’s tastes, budgets and lifestyles.

Eco fashion is the current buzzword in fashion circles.  No longer is it associated with hippy treehugger types, or made from itchy, scratchy loose woven hemp.  Adili is quickly defining itself as the ultimate souce to turn to for ethical fashion.  We are proving that fashion can be stylish AND ethical, and although there aren't any petite ranges yet (trust me, I'm pushing for this!), there are some fab products that are petite-friendly.

If you've been following this page for the last three months you'll have seen me - a real petite woman - wearing some of our fabulous clothes, like these jeans from Kuyichi and the Alchem1st cami.  So it IS possible to love fashion, have a clear conscience, and look great as a petite woman.
